FLEXIPOWER'S UNIQUE FEATURES

Flexipower has been designed to house a broad spectrum of devices which are of paramount importance th lthe user WITHOUT THE NEED FOR ANY STRUCTURAL CHANGES EVEN AFTER INSTALLATION.
The machine features a dedicated section that can be fitted with:

• RFI filters built to EN 50091-2 standards as well as to more stringent staandards for protection from radiofrequency disturbances.
  
• P.F.correction to a uwable.9 where no central P.F.correction circuit is available.
  
• LF harmonic reduction input of less than 10% by means of a dedicated device.
  
• UPS electroinsulation transformes.

FLEXIPOWER'S MAIN FEATURES

• FLEXIPOWER is a continuously operation dual conversion UPS complying with IEC 146-4 and EN 50091-3 European Stadards.

  A standard Flexipower is fitted with the following disconnecting switches:
  Fused rectifier disconnecting switch.
  Output disconnecting switch:disconnects the UPS fully from the load.
  Fused reserve line disconnecting switch:disconnects the reserve line from the static switch and protects the statices switch semiconductors.
  Manual by-pass disconnecting switch:runs the load directly from the line power and cuts off the UPS.
  
• 93% efficiency for>50% load and 90% efficency for>30% load.
  
• IP21 degree of protection even with open door.
  
• Air cooling with air intake from above to minimise the build-up of dust.
  
• Power return and insulation control relay wigh local trip signal plus remote trip signal using a RS232 port.

CONTROL AND MONITORING PANEL

Located on the front of the UPS and consisting of the following two components:

• 80-character LCD and control keys
  
• LED operating overview providing an instant picture of the operating status of the various UPS sections.
  The main functions are:
  
• Cyclic view every 4 secs of the operating status of the various UPS sections.
  
• Piloted view of the UPS operating status as required by the operator by means of the control keys.
  
• Voltage,current,frequency and battery backup time values displayed in real time.
  
• Alarm listing complete with even time and date and scrolling facility.
  
• Battery efficiency test:may be programmed at intervals as specified by the operator.
  
• Information displayed on the monitor ina choice of three languages.
  
• Communicated with the main contrl/monitoring software programmers.
  
• Battery recharged according to environmental temperature.

INTERFACE FOR RS232 AND FIBER OPTIC CONNECTIONS

• This interface in always provided in the UPS and may be customised using the various versions available. The main ones are:
  
• Monitoring of the UPS by a PC installed with a software programme for switching off the system,signalling and alarms.
  
• Communicating with specialised software programmes installed in computers with a serial EIA-RS232 interface to activate all SIEL software,called OCSystems,may also be used;this programme gives full and total control of all UPS functions and records an exhaustive event history.
  
• Remote UPS signaliing systems with special reference to EPO control that isolates and switches off the UPS fully in the event of an emergency.
  
• Remote handling and diagnostics.
